This is the title of the conference organized by six Rotary Clubs of the South Île-de-France region on Tuesday November 14, 2023 at 8:00 pm at the Théâtre Municipal in Fontainebleau. This conference is helping to finance 2 scholarships for deserving students from local high schools.\nAccess to water is vital for humans and all the living beings on which they depend. This natural resource is a common good coveted for multiple uses (agriculture, energy and industry, river navigation, drinking water...) whose scarcity is increased during natural disasters, and progressively with the climate disturbances observed and predicted in the decades to come.\nControlling this resource is a major challenge. Patrice Fonlladosa, with his knowledge and international experience of water resource management in countries in Africa, the Middle East and India, will show the audience the ways in which government bodies can ensure fair access to water for their populations.
