Activities

Benoît Miribel is the Secretary General of the One Sustainable Health for All Foundation, which was launched at the COVID 2020 conference and coordinates the OSH Forum and the One Europe for Global Health (OEGH) coalition.

He is a member of the Economic, Social and Environmental Council (EESC).

He served as president of the French Center for Foundations (CFF) (2015-2022).
Prior to that, he joined Institut Mérieux from April 2019 to June 2020, as Director of Global Health. From January 2007 to March 2019, he was the Chief Executive Officer of Fondation Mérieux, an organization dedicated to fighting infectious diseases in developing countries.

Since June 2013, he has been honorary president of Action Against Hunger (ACF), an NGO he chaired from 2010 to 2013 and led as executive director from 2003 to 2006.

He was a board member of the European Foundation Center (EFC) from 2013 to 2016 and a board member of VOICE, the European network of humanitarian NGOs (2003/2006). He is co-founder of the bilingual journal "Humanitarian Alternatives" and President of Earthwake, an NGO dedicated to the recycling of plastic bags. He is a member of the board of Friendship (Bangladesh). He is a member of the think-tank "Global Health 2030" and the think-tank (Re)sources.

He was a member of the High Council for International Cooperation (HCCI), a member of the White Paper Commission of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Commission of the White Paper of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (2008) and of the National Commission of Human Rights (1998-2001). National Human Rights Commission (1998-2001 and 2011-2013).
