Activities

Bernard de La Villardière is a journalist and television producer.

Holder of a Master's degree in Political Science from the University of Paris X and a Bachelor's degree in Journalism from CELSA, he participated in the launch of France Info in 1987 and then LCI in 1994 where he presented the Journal du Monde. He covered the Romanian revolution and the first Gulf War for RTL and then presented the morning news slot on Europe 1 between 1996 and 1998.

In September 1998, he joined M6 to manage the news magazine "Zone Interdite". For two years, he also hosted the prime-time programme "Ca me Révolte", which was broadcast in public once a month. In September 2006, he launches the magazine of great reportage and investigation "Enquête Exclusive". LDF also provides the program "100% Mag" - still on M6 - with 5 to 6 minute reports at a rate of 200 per year.

He created his production company Ligne de Front in 2004. LDF produces 52 and 90 minute documentaries for Exclusive Investigation (Colombia: War on Cocaine, Cuba: Behind the Scenes, Psychiatric Emergency...) and Zone Interdite (Familles nombreuses, Les voleurs de métaux, Papa part à la guerre...).

An activist in the humanitarian cause, he chaired the emergency humanitarian aid NGO "Solidarités" from 2000 to 2003. He is currently a director of the Suez Foundation, the Culturespaces Foundation and a member of the Re-Sources network.

President of the Press Club de France for 5 years, he now sits on the Board of Directors of the Centre de Formation des Journalistes. His interest in digital media recently led him to take over a website "Lesinfos.com" for which he is developing a high-end editorial project.
