Former Minister of Cooperation and Honorary Member of Parliament A graduate in public law and of the Institut d'Etudes Politiques de Paris, Charles Josselin is a French politician and former senator. He is now an Honorary Member of the French Parliament. He has successively held the government positions of Secretary of State for Transport, Secretary of State for the Sea, then Minister Delegate for Cooperation and Francophony. Charles Josselin also sat in the European Parliament from 1979 to 1981. He was also an important player in local and regional political life: Mayor of Pleslin-Trigavou, President of the General Council of Côtes-d'Armor from 1976 to 1997, before becoming its Vice-President until March 2015. Throughout his career, Charles Josselin has been actively involved in promoting the contribution of cities to the solution of urban planning issues. Convinced of the value of international cooperation between cities and regions, he chaired Cités Unies France from 2004 to 2011. He is now Honorary President.
