Laurence Breton-Moyet was appointed Executive Director in charge of Operations at Agence Française de Développement (AFD) in June 2015.
Since July 2015, she has been a member of the Management Board of Proparco.
A graduate of Ecole des Ponts Paris-Tech and ESCP, she obtained her degree in civil engineering,
Expertise in sustainable development, climate infrastructures and economic and financial analyses.
Laurence Breton-Moyet has 20 years of experience in international development. She started at the World Bank as a long-term infrastructure consultant and then worked for EDF as an international project manager before joining the French Development Agency in 2004. She specializes in infrastructure projects, sustainable development issues and climate impacts. She was appointed Director of the Sustainable Development Department, covering natural resource management, agriculture and rural development and infrastructure.
