Patrice Fonlladosa is a recognized expert with more than 35 years of experience in leading companies worldwide in the development, construction and operation of environmental infrastructure.

Patrice was until 2019 Chairman and CEO of Veolia Africa/Middle East/India, a group of 17 companies present in a dozen countries with the support of more than 10,000 Employees, and generating nearly €1.4 billion in chiffre d'affaires. He was previously involved in the management and development of the Veolia Environnement Group, first at Veolia Tansport/Transdev where he was in charge of international development and became a Director, then at VeoliaEau/CGE where he was a member of the Executive Committee, in charge of the USA for 4 years, then of Africa/Middle East India and of the Group's Strategic Partnerships, introducing new alliances with various stakeholders, such as development financial institutions (IFC, Proparco...), and institutional investors (Mubadala, Qatari Diar and many others).

Patrice has extensive experience in international PPPs and long-term contracts in complex regulatory environments. He has served on numerous boards in more than 8 countries, including the chairmanship of a listed company (SDC in Oman).

Before spending more than 24 years at Veolia, Patrice was financial director of Matra Transport Taiwan (a transportation system company) and Bouygues Travaux Publics (Iraq / Algeria / France).

In addition to these professional roles, Patrice served for several years as a Director of AFD (the French Development Agency) and MEDEF (the largest French business network). He has also served as President Africa of Medef International and Vice President of the Council of Franco-Saudi affaires.

Currently president of the think tank (Re)sources, he advises public and private organizations on international development and governance through his own consulting firm PFoAMe. He is also an independent director on several boards in France and abroad, as well as on the CIAN (Conseil des Investisseurs en Afrique).

Patrice is a graduate of the IFG (1982), father of four children and a Chevalier of the Legion of Honor.
