Carole Malinvaud is a partner at Gide in Paris where she coordinates international arbitration activities and chairs Gide's Pro Bono Endowment Fund. Admitted to the New York and Paris Bars, she has acted as counsel or arbitrator in more than seventy ad hoc or institutional international arbitrations, as well as before French state courts, in connection with arbitration proceedings.
Specializing in international trade law, and more particularly in international arbitration, Carole's recent activities include arbitrations in various fields, including the construction, energy, defence and banking sectors, conducted under the rules of the ICC and ICSID. She also acts as arbitrator and chairperson in several ICC and ICSID arbitrations.
Carole is President of the French International Arbitration Commission (ICC France) and former President of the French Arbitration Committee (CFA). She is a member of the ICCA Governing Board, as well as an elected member of the International Council of Arbitration for Sport (ICAS) and President of the Ordinary Division of the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS).
